Meet The Board
Andrea Harrison
Chair
Andi is a proud mom of three boys and has been homeschooling for nine years. She’s been a valued member of Legacy since 2019 and currently serves as one of our co-chairs. In her role, she helps address family concerns, supports a positive co-op environment, and ensures that our guidelines are followed with care and consistency. When she’s not helping things run smoothly, you’ll find her enjoying music, soaking in nature, tending to her plants, or dancing to the rhythm of her own unique beat.
All of our board members serve as unpaid volunteers, driven by a deep love for our co-op community. We’re committed to working hard behind the scenes to create the best possible experience for every family involved.
Reyka Smith
Co-Chair
Reyka is a mom of three girls and has been homeschooling since 2021. She joined Legacy in 2022 and now serves as our board secretary, playing a key role in keeping things organized and running smoothly. She handles the many important tasks and behind-the-scenes tasks that support the daily flow of co-op life. Outside of co-op, Reyka enjoys singing, swimming, and spending quality time playing games with her family.
Cheryl Jensen
Treasurer
A Harry Potter obsessed mom of four boys, Cheryl has been homeschooling since 2012 and part of Legacy Homeschool Co-op since 2018. She serves as our co-op treasurer, diligently managing the budget, tracking spending, and ensuring our funds are used wisely to support the needs of the co-op. Cheryl’s dedication and organization help make Legacy a thriving community for families.
Pamela Cole
Media Correspondent​
Social Activities Director
Pamela has been with Legacy since 2016. As our social director, she is in charge of all things fun! She plans memorable field trips, organizes Mom’s Night Out events, and coordinates dress-up theme days that bring extra joy to co-op life. In addition to keeping the calendar full of exciting activities, she also responds to messages and emails, helps manage the waitlist, and makes sure new families feel welcome and have the opportunity to experience everything our amazing co-op has to offer.
Shannon Wasden
Curriculum Assistant
Head of Material Logistics
Shannon is a mom of two and has been homeschooling since 2019, joining Legacy in 2024. She serves as both our head of material logistics and curriculum assistant. Her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and behind-the-scenes support play a vital role in the success of our co-op. In her rare free time, she loves being with family, exploring nature, dabbling in art, or planning her next unnecessary project.
Martha Aston
Curriculum Head
A kind-hearted mother of five, Martha has been a vital member of Legacy since 2019 and serves as our head of curriculum. She reviews classes, curriculum, scheduling, teaching assignments, and much more to keep each semester running well. When she isn't serving the co-op or spending time with family, she is serving in her church or playing and writing music.
